Classic massage (Swedish)

Classic massage is an effective method of treatment and prevention of different ailments. Massage is conductive for removal of pain, edema, commissures,normalization of sexual function, acceleration of regeneration of injured tissues.

Massage restores the power to tired muscles, increases their efficiency, strengthens joints and ligaments. The main methods applied in this type of massage are stroking, rubbing, petrissage and vibration. Number of repetitions of different massage techniques may vary depending on the individuality of the patient and some other factors (age, health, etc.). Certain methods have to be repeated up to 4-5 times, others - less. Immutable rule is that the direction of the massage movements is along the lymphatics to the nearest  lymph node. The classic massage starts with large areas of the body and then moves to smaller ones – this sequence improves the lymph and blood circulation of the body.
